the peanut made me do it.

well, i made it to 9 1/2 weeks without getting sick. just as i was about to leave the house this morning, that unmistakable unplesant feeling came over me and i had to rush to the toilet. sigh. hubby was in the shower at the time and opened the door as i was finishing up to say “well, i guess this means the peanut is getting bigger!” at least he can find humor in all of this.

i’m just glad there is a sink in my office here at work. i have a feeling i’ll be feeling quite green for most of the day today.

Ooh, sorry that you got sick. That stinks! My advice to you is to just eat whatever sounds good to you. If it’s a snickers or ice cream or a burger, who cares about calories and all that stuff, eat it if it’ll make you feel better. =)

    Does your work know yet?

yeah, i have been doing that. last night i had a bean and cheese burrito from taco bell and it’s seriously been years since i’ve been there. right before i got sick i had made a scrambled egg sandwich to take to work ~ but hadn’t eaten any before i got sick ~ so who knows. i ate the sandwich on the way to work and have been okay. still feeling really queazy, though. i might go home early today. maybe it’s the prenatal vitamins. i’m going to try and take them before i got to bed instead on in the morning. maybe that will help…

I’ve heard of people getting sick from their vitamins, so that could be it. I just take the wal mart brand and they’ve been pretty good to my tummy. I’ve heard the prescription ones are harder on you.

Taco Bell and Wendy’s have been my friends for the last 6 months! I feel like I’m back in college!

do you take your vitamins in the morning or at night? i found some at the grocery store, so mine are pretty generic, too. today was the first day i got sick, so who knows what it was.

i did feel like i was in collge when i was at taco bell last night. 🙂 i hit mc donalds quite a bit, too. and jack in the box for their strawberry shakes. mmmm!

I take mine in the morning. They’ve never made me sick, but when I was taking a regular multi vitamin in the morning, it made me sick to my stomach.

We don’t have Jack in the Box out here, and I miss it. I think I’m going to go home and eat a drumstick. That sounds yummy! =)

I was so incredibly sick for the first 16 weeks of both of my pregnancies. The second one I actually had to take this drug they give to chemo patients.

I know this isn’t making you feel any better. But somehow your experience is making ME feel better! :):):) (just kidding??) :):)

ugh. thanks, maggie. if today was any indication of the next few weeks…waaa! i’m still miserable.

but the best part was when hubby called a little bit ago to see if i was feeling well enough to make him dinner tonigh. ah. compassion isn’t lost on him!! 🙂
